Your mouth will determine what will happen to you. Be very careful, don’t follow your feeling. There will be things that God has finished for you, don’t cancel it with your own mouth. No matter how bad you feel, don’t speak anything contrary to what God has said. No matter how bad the news you hear, keep your mouth shut, it does not concern you! Be conscious of what you say with your mouth. Don’t do damage to yourself with your mouth. Don’t talk negatives. Don’t repeat any bad dreams. Just keep your mouth shut! Keep your mouth straight with God!
No matter how bad you feel, don’t speak anything contrary to what God has said.
You don’t feel like it is, just repeat what God has said, that is all! Don’t sow any negative seed with your mouth. Don’t get your mouth working in the wrong direction because prayer may not be able to change it later. AVOID THE DANGER OF WRONG SPEAKING.
Wrong speaking is wrong sowing, and this eventually produces wrong harvest.
Psalm 141:3 says – Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
If your vehicle is going to reach its destination, you must learn how to control your mouth. Every blessing and trouble men are going to have tomorrow, they are saying it today. Every blessing and trouble in people’s lives today also came out of their mouth yesterday. Mind your mouth!
Proverb 4:24 says “ put away from thee a froward mouth, and peverse lips put far from thee.” A froward mouth is one not consistent with what it says and a perverse lip is one that is twisted. Your lips have doors. It is better not to say anything than to say something wrong. What determines the experiences that you are going to have in life is not your job but the words of your mouth. (Prov 13:2). The devil is looking for different people to give away crucial things with the words they speak.
There is a difference between talking about something and talking to something.
The Bible teaches us to talk TO things and not about them. Mark 11:23 “ for verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain…………he shall have whatsoever he saith.” The scripture does not say whosoever shall talk and discuss about the mountain. God wants you to speak His word to the mountain because that is where the solution lies. Talking about it will only magnify the problem and show you how much of impossibilities the problem carries. For example, if they say there is an embargo on jobs, it does not mean there is an embargo on your own employment.
You should say what God has said.
Coming to Bible study is coming to learn how to speak. Psalm 34:12-13 says “ what man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.” Say this: ‘God, keep my mouth for me so that my words can keep my life.’ . If you don’t like what you are having or seeing, change what you are saying.
Silence is consent in the spirit. If you don’t want a particular experience, reject it with your mouth.
You must also be conscious of the word you agree to as you move on in life. It is not every word that you say Amen to. When people come to you with words laced with demonic power, you must not agree with such words. Don’t even joke about negative things. Say what you mean and mean what you say constantly. Once you make a negative statement, you have shut yourself out of divine provision. When you speak in the heat of negative emotions, you accelerate the manifestation of the words you speak. When you are confronted with any situation, anything you say can and will be used against you by the devil. That demon is waiting for what you are going to say.
If you don’t know what to say, shut up! If your life is going to be full of good and not violence, mind your mouth.
